Copeland/SpodeLandscape (c.1820)The plate below is the earliest Spode version of the Landscape pattern, and is identical to the one that was on show until recently in the Spode Museum in Stoke-on-Trent. This museum closed when the WT Copeland company ceased operations a few years ago. It is hoped that this historic collection will reopen to the public at a later date. Items in this pattern are not marked with a SPODE backstamp, but instead bear the STONE CHINA mark shown below. |
