KEELING & CO - Losol Ware

This firm produced quality earthenwares from 1886 to 1936 in Burslem, Staffordshire. Some items have a mark featuring the figure of a potter, the date 1790, and the words "Late Mayers".

The trade name LOSOL was in use from 1912-1936 and items bearing this mark are becoming increasingly collected. A typical LOSOL WARE piece will have strikingly brilliant colours often involving stylised fruits, flowers, butterflies, etc...
