Cake stands

These are formed of one, two, or three plates, with holes in the centre through which a metal HANDLE passes. Several types of handle were made, some featuring wooden or bakelite tips in various colours. All handles are interchangable - please specify your preferred design.

Single cake stands were also produced with a metal BASE, which also attaches via a screw through the central hole. Since the plates all have the same size central hole, we can supply any of the single cake stands with EITHER a base or a handle.

All the cake stands shown below were manufactured by Wood & Sons or their subsidiary Bursley Ware in the 1920s and 30s. For similar items in the Coalport Canton pattern, click here.
