This rarely seen pattern has a beautiful lilac coloured border and inner band, handpainted over a black transfer - not exactly the sort of colours you would expect from the name of the pattern. The Reg No of 646542 dates it to 1915+, and an additional backstamp connects it with the retailers MAPPIN & WEBB.
