Barker BrosThis Staffordshire Pottery was established in 1876 at the Meir Works, Longton. We specialise
in their pretty and collectable Fantasy pattern, an all-over chintz-like
design of handpainted flowers on a leafy blue transfer background. See below for the two versions of this design, and for the hard-to find Nasturtium pattern. |

The earliest version of this pattern has the MEIR WORKS LONGTON backstamp with a fleur-de-lys logo, and dates from c. 1912-30. |

More recent examples
have a backstamp featuring a crown and the words
ROYAL TUDOR WARE. These can be dated 1937+. |

Another attractive chinz-like pattern that we occasionally have in stock. As far as we know this was only made during the MEIR WORKS period, c. 1912-30. |
